Flora
Flora is a seating concept developed during my Industrial Design studies at Politecnico di Torino. Positioned between a chair and an armchair, Flora explores the idea of guilt-free production through biomimicry and parametric design. The piece is entirely 3D-printable using Econyl filament, a sustainable material derived from recycled nylon. Its lattice structure is designed to create a spring-like cushioning effect, offering both flexibility and comfort. Inspired by plant growth, the white support elements resemble branching stems, merging functionality and organic aesthetics into a minimal and eco-conscious design.
